Same crappy drawings and mindless blither

I realized that those of you who actually visit Finding Ninee on a regular basis may have landed here over the past few days and thought “Whoa, I must have entered the wrong URL because the blog that I’m familiar with was way more low-rent and messy.”  If that person is you, wait!  You’re in the right place.

Finding Ninee got a makeover.  A big one.  The kind where the guy comes to your house and makes fun of your favorite clothes just because they went out of style 14 years ago and looked like shit on you then, too.  Yup, Julie from Fabulous Blogging was kind enough to help a dumb blonde out by making this virtual home of mine purdy.  Or at least purdier.  There was nothing she could do to improve my art skills.

Anyway!  You’re here, and you’re in the right place.  So let’s look around a little, shall we?

Comments

Commenting is easier than ever and you even have two handy options.  I’ll hold your hand and walk you through.  Or, if you don’t want to hold my hand because I didn’t shower today and Tucker may have wiped a booger on my finger earlier, that’s okay too.

You can comment using the Facebook interface (just uncheck that little box if you don’t want it to feed to Facebook – Facebook is hungry and it’s okay to just say no).  With that option, my comment back to you will be nested beneath the one you made.

If you’re a blogger or just like the old comment style, use the comment form beneath the FB one.  You can enter your URL and it’ll show your last post and everything.  Know that if you choose this, my comment will not be nested beneath yours unless I reply to it right away.  And we all know how likely that is because, well, life.  I will use your name though.  Easy peasy right?  Cool.

Stalkers

See the little black bar on the left?  If you hover over it, it moves.  Magic.  It allows you to subscribe so that you never miss a new post.  You can also subscribe over there on the right, OR with the handy little button that says “Subscribe.”  I guess what I’m saying is “Um, please subscribe?  It’s super easy.”  By doing so, you will be bringing sunshine and happy into my life.  Which I really need right now because you know…my dog just died.  Okay sorry.  That was a low blow.  But it’s actually true, so I think I’m allowed to use it.

Important note to all old subscribers.  You should have received an email from me letting you know that if you’ve hated receiving my New Post notifications SO much that it was too insulting to even click the unsubscribe button, you’re in luck.  Tomorrow night, I’ll deactivate the old subscription manager.  If you DO want to keep receiving emails from me, please refer to this handy graphic that Julie made.  I’m pretty sure it’s because she didn’t trust my ability to draw this properly.  And I’m okay with that.

Oh!  If you got this twice today, it’s just because the old subscription form won’t deactivate until tomorrow.  This should be the last duplicate you receive from me.  Thanks for your patience.

Happy Sunday, friends.

And no, please do not send me a puppy.  I’m not ready.  I’m happy to receive other gifts though.  Just not ones that need anything back from me.  Like wine.  Wine doesn’t ask much back from me.  Neither do nachos.
